How Concrete Pros Greenville SC Works

Concrete Pros Greenville SC is a free referral service. You tell us about your concrete project once, we pass it to a licensed local contractor in our network, and that contractor gives you a free quote. We don’t pour concrete or employ crews ourselves.

Three steps

  1. Tell us about the job. Use the form to describe the service, your ZIP code, a rough size and your timeline. Photos help.
  2. A local contractor contacts you. Your request goes to a licensed contractor in our network who works in your area, usually within 24 hours.
  3. Get a free quote and decide. The contractor looks at the job and gives you a written quote. There is no cost to you and no obligation to hire.

Who does the work

The work is done by independent contractors, not by us. Your quote, contract, schedule, payment and warranty are all between you and the contractor you choose. Read the quote carefully, and get everything in writing before work starts.

What “licensed” means in South Carolina, and how to check

South Carolina licenses and registers contractors through the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR):

  • Residential work. The Residential Builders Commission registers residential specialty contractors for jobs over $500. Concrete work on homes, including poured-in-place foundations and reinforced slabs, falls under the “Masons” classification. A contractor working in more than three classifications needs a Residential Builder license.
  • Commercial work. The Contractor’s Licensing Board licenses general and mechanical contractors for projects where the total cost of construction is more than $10,000.

Check any contractor yourself, ours included. Search by name or license number on the SC LLR licensee lookup. Ask for proof of liability insurance and, for anyone with employees, workers’ compensation insurance before work starts.

What we don’t do

  • Pavers. We arrange concrete, coatings and asphalt work, not paver installations. Our pavers vs. stamped concrete guide explains the trade-offs.
  • Charge you. Requesting a quote is free.
  • Pressure you. You are never obliged to hire the contractor who calls.

Your details

The details you enter on the quote form are passed to our contractor network so a contractor can contact you about your project. Only send what’s needed for the quote.

How we write our guides

Cost ranges on this site come from named, dated sources, and figures are national unless labelled local. Read our editorial policy.

Common questions

Do I pay anything for the referral?

No. Homeowners pay nothing to request a quote. You agree the price directly with the contractor, and you pay them, not us, for the work.

Can I get more than one quote?

Yes. On bigger jobs, comparing two or three written quotes is sensible. Our quote comparison checklist helps you line them up so you compare the same scope.

What if I’m not happy with the contractor?

Your agreement is with the contractor, so raise problems with them first and keep everything in writing. Before you sign, check their license on the SC LLR lookup and confirm their insurance.
