Concrete Pros Greenville SC publishes cost guides and project advice so Upstate homeowners can make decisions before they talk to anyone. This page explains where our numbers come from and how we keep them honest.
Who we are
We are a free referral service. We match homeowners and businesses with independent, licensed local contractors; we don’t install anything ourselves. Our guides are written to be useful whether or not you ever fill in our form.
Where cost ranges come from
- National installed costs come from named, dated sources, mainly HomeGuide’s annual cost guides. We cite the specific page under “Sources” at the bottom of every article.
- Local information comes only from official or first-hand sources: Greenville County Public Works documents, SC LLR, SCDOT, and federal wage data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
- Labelled as national. We have not found an independent, methodology-disclosed price survey for Greenville or South Carolina. So our ranges are national unless a figure is clearly labelled local, and we explain why your quote may differ.
- What we never do: invent a “Greenville average”, adjust national numbers by a made-up percentage, or quote a figure we haven’t opened and checked.
Where specs come from
Thickness, strength, joint spacing, cure times and similar specs come from recognised industry sources: the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the Portland Cement Association as reported by Concrete Network, manufacturer data, and the cost sources above. Code and permit statements link to the government office that issues them.
Reviews and updates
Every page shows a “Last reviewed” date. We re-check prices at least every six months and update the page when a source changes. A page’s date changes only when its content actually changes.
No fake proof
We don’t publish reviews, testimonials, project photos or customer stories that aren’t real. Images on this site are illustrations unless clearly labelled otherwise.
Corrections
If you spot an error, a broken source link or an outdated rule, tell us through the contact form and include the page address. We check every report and correct confirmed errors.
